Grabbed lunch here with a group of my coworkers earlier today. I ordered the pennette con salsiccia, which came in such a huge portion. I thought the pasta was a little too al dente, but the flavor was good. Prices are reasonable and on par with other restaurants in the area. This is a great place for larger groups, especially on weekdays!

Ambiance was good. A little loud but the food was good. Highly recommend the pizza as a table appetizer followed by an entree. Portion sizes are perfect.

Cafe Angelino in West Hollywood is a good deal for Italian food. The pasta made with tender slices of New York strip steak, caramelized onions is my favorite dish. I like the chicken Milanese-a breaded with potatoes and vegetables-was equally impressive: crispy on the outside and juicy inside. To accompany the meal, the restaurant provides warm, fresh bread along with excellent olive oil, setting the stage for what is to follow. To add to the touches: a set of cookies, presented complimentary with the bill, adds that nice touch to an excellent meal.

This place is a total hole-in-the-wall type deal where if you know, you KNOW. Inconspicuous and reserved on 3rd Street, Cafe Angelino's ambiance may not be that of your classic 5-star Italian restaurant, but man, does it deliver. I am assuming this restaurant is family-owned, as I have always seen the same staff working here, tending to us quickly and with a smile no matter how hectic. And yes, this place can get hectic, and the acoustics are not the best. That being said, the food more than makes up for it. From authentic, al dente pasta to, I kid you not, the BEST chicken piccata I've ever had, this place does it all. All at reasonable prices as well, with most entreés being $30 or under. If you're thinking about it or just passing by, just do it. Trust me.

A group of 7 of us came here for a Saturday night friends dinner. We were seated quickly and the atmosphere was a cozy, hole-in-the-wall type place. Our waiter was super friendly! My friends and I were asked to move tables because a bigger party had come in, and they ended up giving us a free pizza which was thoughtful. My friends and I ordered bruschetta, ceasar salad, an array of pastas and pizzas. Shoutout to the ceasar salad, which might have been the best item of the night...unfortunately everything else was very mediocre, especially at the price point that it's at. I have had much better Italian food in LA for much cheaper (I am Italian and have lived in Italy for a year). The food was a 3/5 star (just okay), but the service was a 5/5 star, hence my 4/5 rating.

We've Been frequenting this lovely restaurant for over 2 decades now and the food remains top notch. It's always super busy but you're taken care of well. Sweet little spot.

Family style Italian restaurant. I like the cozy dining room and they also have outdoor dining area in the front of the restaurant. My seafood pasta is fresh and flavorful. My husband ordered penne with chicken sausage. He loved it!
